Thanks for the referral onstolenland. I’m really grateful for this important look at the “primitive skills” and “rewilding” communities. This article was suggested to the site just about the time I was going to sit down and write something myself. Ezeder, who also works on ATHP, has been moved in the past to engage white primitive skills people in the place now called Florida. She’s found very limited success.
It’s my opinion it will probably take active advocacy from within the community to address the most embedded behaviors of white privilege. I’m sure some of you who read this may already be doing that. If so, thank you!
