I’m sure alot of people would disagree that cyclic, seasonal, and holistic time is not “useful”. This is after all, what all life on Earth has lived in since time immemorial so its obviously quite effective for every other lifeform on Earth except modern humans. And we also benefit by challenging the idea of something being “useful” in modern human terms. There’s alot of colonial baggage in that concept.
